Photograph the whole path
Take one broad photo from the street side and one from the home side, then add close views of offsets and cracks. Keep house numbers, license plates, people, and unrelated personal details out of the frame when possible.

- Garage-floor, apron, sidewalk, or roadway transition
- Offset with a ruler or tape visible
- Downspouts, drains, low areas, and access constraints
Keep jurisdiction questions separate
Work near a sidewalk, apron, right-of-way, drainage feature, or utility can raise questions beyond the private slab. Ocala and unincorporated Marion County are different jurisdictions; the responsible office should decide what applies to a specific address.
Compare the complete proposal
Ask what area is included, what is excluded, how adjoining surfaces are handled, whether joint sealing or crack treatment is separate, what site protection is planned, and what conditions could change the scope.

Questions worth asking
Can every sunken driveway panel be leveled?
No. Panel condition, cracking, support, access, movement, and the cause of the change all affect whether leveling is reasonable.
Will leveling repair every crack?
Not necessarily. Lifting and crack or joint treatment are different parts of a proposal. Ask the evaluator to identify each scope separately.
