“Polyjacking” commonly refers to expanding polymer material, while “mudjacking” or slabjacking commonly refers to a cementitious mixture. Names alone do not establish suitability, durability, cost, or outcome.

  • What material and manufacturer specification is proposed?
  • Where would access holes be placed and repaired?
  • How will lift and adjacent transitions be monitored?
  • What void filling, stabilization, or elevation is included?

Compare site constraints

Access, slab thickness and condition, the amount and pattern of movement, utilities, drainage, nearby structures, and finish expectations may influence a proposal. Ask what observation supports each recommendation.

Read exclusions and follow-up terms

Compare surface repairs, joint or crack treatment, landscaping, cleanup, drainage work, return visits, warranties, exclusions, and the conditions that could change price. Avoid a comparison based on a single material slogan.

Does a smaller access hole guarantee a better repair?
